Its time for the 4th World Photowalk, i initially would like to join the walk for Baguio City but the Photo walk is already full, as a hobbyist photographer I would like to join such an event to be able to socialize with professional photographers and learn the only “art” that i know and love. Two months ago I applied as a photo walk leader with the hope of opening an opportunity for students who would also want to channel their vibrant energy to this art, having noticed that a lot of students owns a digital camera. Although my application as a photo walk leader is one that can be considered as “Suntok sa Buwan” (next to impossible), last September 21, 2011 I was given an email by the organizers of the World Photowalk informing me of my approval as the second world photowalk leader for Baguio City. To be honest, I was not totally happy because the confirmation came only more than one week before the actual walk so I barely have enough time to promote the event and even look for sponsors. It definitely is going to be a mad dash and i might really be cutting it close…too close.
